Eric Ngola - Chief Field Engineer
Eric Ngola is the Chief Field Engineer at BKM Consulting & Services Ltd, responsible for leading on-site engineering operations across mining, infrastructure, and industrial projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He oversees field execution, drilling and blasting activities, heavy equipment operations, safety compliance, and technical quality in challenging environments.
Within the partnership between Quantum Opus Ltd and BKM, Eric provides essential on-the-ground technical leadership, ensuring that
strategic plans and international standards are translated into effective field delivery. He serves as a key interface between project planning and local execution.
Originally trained as an IT specialist, Eric also oversees fibre optic deployment projects in regions such as Goma and Lubumbashi. His multidisciplinary expertise strengthens the partnership by integrating digital infrastructure, communications systems, and data-driven field coordination, enhancing execution efficiency, risk control, and long-term project reliability.
