In October 2024, President Hakainde Hichilema attended the Chakwela Makumbi Ceremony in Chongwe, led by Senior Chieftainess Nkomeshya Mukamambo II. This annual Soli event celebrates the harvest and honours traditional leadership. It reflects the enduring role of customary institutions in Zambia. Ezekiel Kaputa, Co-Director of Quantum Opus Ltd, was also in attendance, among invited stakeholders.

Honourable Princess Kasune, Minister of Justice, sharing a genuine, light-hearted moment with Mr Kaputa, Co-Director of Quantum Opus Ltd — a reminder that meaningful partnerships are built as much on trust and connection as they are on strategy.

Honourable Sylvia Masebo, Minister of Health, with Mr Kaputa, Co-Director of Quantum Opus Ltd, highlighting the importance of strong relationships in land, policy, and development.

This photograph captures a moment of profound pride and personal significance for Mr Kaputa, pictured alongside his parents and aunt at Windsor Castle following a formal investiture ceremony. At its centre, his mother, Dr Rachel Baggaley OBE, holds the insignia of her award, bestowed in recognition of her services to people living with HIV and to global health. Set against the historic surroundings of the castle, the image represents not only a distinguished national honour but also a deeply personal celebration of a lifetime dedicated to advancing care, compassion, and global health outcomes.
